Pre-Christmas 2010 we were invited to provide a practical solution to a design proposal for large awnings. These awnings needed to incorporate signage and lighting and be wind resistant. Working closely with the client, designer, shopfitter and structural engineer we submitted a package of costs, technical drawings and 3D visuals which were approved and the order was placed. To ensure an exact fit into the available apertures production of the awnings could not commence until the new shopfronts were in place. This reduced the programme time. Liverpool John Moores University

In the latter months of 2012 we completed a programme of sign installation at Liverpool John Moores University Byrom Street campus close to Liverpool City Centre. The work was extensive and included supplying new wayfinding totem signs, refurbishing and over cladding existing freestanding structures on site, converting two seven metre high concrete entrance columns into square totem pillar signs, and installing three large sets of high level brushed stainless steel letters with halo illumination. EFC Timeline

During the summer of 2010 we were invited to attend a meeting at Everton FC Design department to help configure proposed timeline signage. The timeline was to be a continuous band of panelling, over 1 metre deep, fixed at fascia height to the perimeter of the stadium. The graphics would illustrate the history of the club from 1870 to the present day. The first challenge on this unique project was to position the graphics correctly in relation to the fabric of the building. Commencing late 2009 through to the summer of 2010 we successfully completed a UK-wide programme of supply and installation of internal signs and graphics to almost 200 stores. The stores needed to trade during the day so installation was limited to the evenings and overnight. At the peak of activity three fixing teams were fitting out three stores per night each with the stores re-imaged and ready to trade the next morning. The work involved the use of our in-house screen printing process, large format digital printing, CNC routering and digital graphic services.

27th May 2011 saw the opening of Costa Coffee's first UK Drive Thru coffee shop at Nottingham's Castle Marina Retail Park. This was followed by the opening of Swindon Drive Thru on 24th June.Work is ongoing on the signage production of five more sites with installation planned over the next 12 months.This project saw the use of all our in house production teams, from concept and design to digital printing, metal fabrication, CNC routering, powder coating, workshop assembly and installation. Hugh Baird College, Bootle

In May 2012 we were awarded the contract to supply this well-known local college with new external building signs as part of a wider refurbishment programme to the campus. The most challenging aspect was the high-level sign, mainly due to its size and position on the building, but also because of the short turnaround required! Working from the clients artist impressions and our survey data, full colour visuals and a working sample of the logo were produced.
